OTTAWA, ON, June 2, 2026 /CNW/ - Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) will publish updated data and analysis on municipal development charges and fees on Wednesday June 3 at 10:00 AM ET.

In the article, CMHC's Chief Economist, Mathieu Laberge builds on CMHC's Development Charges and Fees Survey released in December 2025. The updated dataset now covers 40 municipalities and is paired with new modelling to assess how these charges affect housing project viability.
