Innovative LEAFr Attachment Uses Hockey Stick Flex to Boost Raking Power and Turns Autumn Chores into a Game of Lawn Hockey

TORONTO, Oct. 19, 2026 /CNW/ -- As autumn leaves cover lawns across North America, a new sports-meets-home product is redefining how families handle seasonal outdoor chores. Launching today, LEAFr is a durable, toolless attachment that turns any standard hockey stick into a high-performance leaf rake - instantly transforming tedious autumn cleanup into a fun game of "lawn hockey."

Designed with minor hockey players and families in mind, LEAFr leverages the unique engineering of modern hockey sticks to deliver superior ergonomic performance compared to traditional one-size-fits-all rakes. By pairing the natural flex of a hockey stick with flexible rake tines, LEAFr stores kinetic energy on every sweep, allowing users to launch larger volumes of leaves significantly further and faster.

"As hockey season kicks off, we combined Canada's favorite pastime with autumn chores to give minor hockey leagues, teams, and players a new way to engage in their communities," said Denim Smith, CEO of LEAFr Corp. "But it's not just a fun novelty - the stick's dynamic flex leverages kinetic energy like a wrist shot, giving you way more launching power and surface area coverage over traditional rigid rakes, significantly speeding up the time to gather leaves."
